Sunday the 14th of December 2025, Pre-Show starts at 6pm. Location is Brien Harris Oval, Ormeau.
Pre-show starts at 6pm, the main show starts at 7pm (the show may start 10 min earlier if that will help avoid any late rain)
As a much loved event, the intersection of Peachey Rd and Orange Mountain Rd, Ormeau, will be affected due to increased traffic. Free shuttles are provided to save the stress of parking - check this out on the Park N Ride (https://www.northerngoldcoastcarols.com.au/parknride)page.
On street parking will be available as signed in the streets surrounding Brien Harris Oval.
The southbound lane along Orange Mountain Rd will be closed from 3pm on Sunday the 14th of December, 2025, until 10:30pm. This is to facilitate extra parking.
A disabled drop-zone is located alongside the bus drop zone at the Orange Mountain Rd carpark (near the football clubhouses). Additional accessible parking will be allocated along Orange Mountain Road within the vicinity of the car parking zone.
What is a carols show without fireworks?! There will be a display at the conclusion of the show.
We have a variety of food vans that will be coming - from pizzas and burgers, to international foods, come and support our locally sourced vendors.
All viewing of the show will be from the playing field of the oval. Bring picnic blankets and pillows. Camping chairs are ok, but let’s remember to be considerate of those around and behind us.
There are parking options in the residential streets around the Brien Harris Oval. Please be courteous and consider our neighbours when you are parking. This year we also have park n ride options - you can find these over on our Park ’n Ride page.
We know that different situations can impact our ability to attend events like carols, so we will be broadcasting the show on the Highway Church YouTube channel on Christmas morning
We are bound by the local by-laws and responsible pet owners are welcome.
Check out the by-laws here.(https://www.goldcoast.qld.gov.au/Things-to-do/Parks-gardens-reserves/Park-Finder/Brien-Harris-Park#:~:text=Note%3A%20Dogs%20must%20be%20walked,in%20all%20children%27s%20playground%20areas.&text=Visit%20our%20Sport%20field%20closures%20page%20for%20updates%20related%20to%20weather%20conditions.)
Please consider whether fireworks will present a problem for your pooch.
Drinking alcohol in a public place in Queensland is illegal, and there are no exemptions for this event. Police will also be patrolling during the evening.
