Northern Gold Coast Carols Colouring Competition 2024 – Terms and Conditions

 

1. **Competition Overview**

The Northern Gold Coast Carols Coloring Competition ("Competition") is organized by Highway Church and is free to enter. The Competition encourages children to participate by colouring a designated image and submitting their entries in person or digitally. Winners will receive the "Ultimate Family Carols Experience" prize.

 

2. **Eligibility**

2.1. The Competition is open to children aged 12 years or under as of 29th November 2024.  

2.2. All entrants must have permission from their parent or guardian to participate.  

2.3. Employees of Highway Church, their immediate family members, and any agencies or parties directly involved in the Competition are ineligible to enter.

 

3. **Entry Method**

3.1. To enter, participants must colour in the official colouring image provided by Highway Church.  

3.2. Entries can be submitted in two ways:

   - **In-person:** Hand in the completed colouring sheet to the Highway Church office at 351 Creek St, Ormeau, QLD, by 4:00 pm on Friday, 29th November 2024.

   - **Online:** Submit a photo or scanned copy of the completed colouring sheet via direct message (DM) to the Northern Gold Coast Carols Facebook page by 4:00 pm on Friday, 29th November 2024.  

3.3. Only one entry per child is allowed.

 

4. **Competition Period**

4.1. The Competition opens on 1st October 2024 and closes for entries at 4:00 pm on Friday, 29th November 2024. 

 

5. **Judging Criteria and Winner Selection**

5.1. The judging will take place on Wednesday, 4th December 2024 and will be based on creativity, effort, and presentation.  

5.2. A panel of judges appointed by Highway Church will select one winner.  

5.3. The judges' decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

6. **Prize**

6.1. The prize is the "Ultimate Family Carols Experience" for up to six (6) people, which includes:

   - A catered picnic in a premium stage-front location at the Northern Gold Coast Carols.

   - A VIP carpark space.

   - A meet and greet with Santa, including a family photo.  

6.2. The prize must be redeemed at the Northern Gold Coast Carols event on Sunday 8th December 2024.  

6.3. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

 

7. **Notification and Announcement of Winners**

7.1. The winner will be notified via phone by 3:00 pm on Wednesday, 4th December 2024.  

7.2. The winner will also be announced publicly via the Northern Gold Coast Carols Facebook page.  

7.3. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 48 hours, a new winner may be selected at the discretion of the organizers.

 

8. **Parental Consent and Privacy**

8.1. By entering, participants confirm that they have obtained permission from a parent or legal guardian to participate.  

8.2. Personal information (such as the child's name and the parent/guardian's contact details) will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Competition and will not be shared with third parties, except as required by law.  

8.3. The organizers may request permission to use the winner's entry, name, and photo for promotional purposes related to the Northern Gold Coast Carols.

 

9. **Liability**

9.1. The organizers accept no responsibility for late, lost, or misdirected entries.  

9.2. The organizers will not be liable for any damages, losses, or injuries resulting from participation in this Competition or the use of the prize.

 

10. **General**

10.1. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.  

10.2. The organizers reserve the right to modify or cancel the Competition at any time without prior notice.  

10.3. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook.
